About Park's Taekwondo Federation

“...I started to see how Taekwondo philosophy was improving my son about a year after he started the classes. Now, almost five years later, I can proudly say he is a straight A student for two years in a row at school, he is working for his second degree in Taekwondo and he has set his own goals in different areas and already achieved some...”

Authentic Korean Teaching

Here at Park's Taekwondo Federation, we focus on teaching authentic martial arts in the Korean style, which is based on self defense and physical fitness. Taekwondo and karate are ways of life, we believe; they change the lives of those who study and practice them, and our students are no exception. We hear stories often about how our school and taekwondo have changed people's personal lifestyles and given them the ability to defend themselves and their families, along with changing their physical fitness to increase their longevity and give them better health overall.

Park's Taekwondo Federation is owned and operated by the Park family, as it has been for 50 years. They are internationally known for bringing lots of experience and dedication to their schools and the teaching of martial arts. They are a very hands-on family and teach all different levels of martial arts along with their incredibly capable staff.

The school follows the tradition of taekwondo established by the Grand Master Jung Soo Park, the founder and Honorable Grand Master of the school. He put Parks martial arts on the map and made it one of the top traditions.

Why Taekwondo is Right For You

Taekwondo is one of the most practiced martial arts in the U.S., and for good reason. There are so many benefits to taekwondo, whether you are an adult or a child, and those benefits are why it's one of the best martial arts for you to choose to train in.

  • It's one of the best for self defense! While taekwondo focuses on quick and powerful kicks and hits in a standing position, it is an easy discipline to use when taken to ground. We teach specific grappling positions and submissions you can use to subdue an attacker, no matter what gender you are.

  • It builds self esteem and confidence! The hard work put into training and the results that come with it, marked by goals and belts, helps you feel confident in yourself and your abilities. You feel stronger and more competent, and your self esteem will grow as well.

  • It strengthens your mind and your body! Martial arts like taekwondo are very physically demanding, but we are working your mind too. You will learn focus and condition your mind to block out everything aside from what you are working on.

Taekwondo Why

  • Our Heritage

The Park family is a long line of martial arts masters taught and raised on Grand Master Jung Soo Park's tradition of taekwondo. We have been running schools of martial arts for many generations and continue to pass down the tradition to each successive one. We have a foundation built on half a century of success as well as creating leaders in the community.

  • Experienced Team

All of our instructors are experienced black belts with years of training and hard work behind them. We have chosen some of the best in the area. We are confident in their abilities to not only teach good form but to also inspire their students. They care about every person who comes in for lessons and will give every student their best.

  • 3 Convenient Locations

We have three locations for your convenience. Choose which is best for you: Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, and Boca Raton. We also have plans to expand in the future. All of our locations are well staffed and taught by the best, with a wide choice of classes to find what is best for you.

  • Comprehensive Curriculum

Whether you are looking for kids martial arts training, adult training, or classes for families, all of our curriculum is complete and comprehensive. You'll never feel like it's going too fast or that we've skipped an important step. We take care to make sure our students go through each step to train their bodies and move up in skill.

  • More Than Martial Arts

Park's Taekwondo Federation teaches much more than just authentic martial arts. Our training is about physical fitness as well as confidence and self esteem. We teach focus, respect, integrity, modesty, and more. We are trying to build our students up to be the best they can be. We are building family and community, and making leaders who will go out into the world to better society.

  • We Love What We Do

Every instructor and staff member loves what we do, and it shows – from our techniques to how we deal with our students and their parents. There isn't anything else we'd want to be doing, and we share that passion and drive with every student that comes through our school.

Our Mission

We make it our mission to instill the tenants of our black belt creed: courtesy, modesty, integrity, perseverance, self control, and indomitable spirit. We strive to give our students a sense of accomplishment and create leaders to better the community.

Our Visioin

Our vision is to create a place where families can train and learn together. Our motto is “The family that kicks together, sticks together.” We believe training together can strengthen family bonds and give children a respect for you, their parents, while solidifying that you are in the leadership role. We want to make taekwondo a family affair.

Our experienced instructors continually strive to achieve balance of both physical and mental conditioning as we build up a student's self-confidence, self-respect, and self-discipline. By working with students to set goals and helping them overcome obstacles or challenges they meet along the way, our students feel an increased level of accomplishment in their lives.

Every instructor and staff member loves what they do, and it shows – from our techniques to how we deal with our students and their parents.

Empathy and sympathy are two ways to cultivate mindfulness of others that will help you prac-tice the spirit of martial arts and will help you every day when interacting with other people.

Emphasis is placed on focus and control with instructors working closely with students as they work towards learning new skills and reaching their goals.
